Meeting Agenda

Thursday, February 8, 2007, 7:00 p.m.

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Coalition for Democracy of Central New York is calling a meeting to address our growing concern that the American people's desire to bring our troops home from Iraq is being ignored and that, simultaneously, this administration is making provocative moves toward Iran which could result in a nuclear confrontation. The meeting will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, Feb. 8, at the First United Methodist Church, corner of Church and Chestnut Streets in Oneonta. We will consider what types of actions people would like to take to address this situation and plan to hear from those who participated in recent national lobbying efforts in Washington, DC. All are welcome.

If anyone has ideas for the agenda, please reply to this message, so that we can plan ahead. We will have a full agenda. Our goal is to come away with some planning groups on goals that attendees have identified. It will take all of us working together to defeat this war, but organizers of the recent march and lobbying in Washington have generated an excellent and energetic core plan with multiple resources. WE CAN DO THIS!

Paddy Lane
