Special Election Season Meeting

Primary Day is September 12! Election Day is right behind! Are we ready?

CfD will hold a special meeting on Thursday, September 7, 7:30-9:00pm, in Oneonta, at the Unitarian Universalist Society at 12 Ford Avenue, Oneonta. The main purpose of the meeting is to discuss matters
concerning the upcoming primaries and elections in advance of our regular meeting,
which is not until September 21. Time permitting, other items may also be addressed.
The agenda (tentative) is as follows:

1. Meet Elizabeth Garry. Elizabeth Garry will attend.*
2. Kick-off of candidate scorecard
3. Update on campaigns (Dems, Greens, others)
4. Grand & Glorious Garage Sale - how best to use our table to advance our issues (Sept 9)
5. Restore the Soul of America kickoff event (9/11) and letter-writing campaign
6. Turning the Tide issues campaign (including canvassing on Sept 16)
7. CfD website (and revised flyer)
8. Healthcare Speak Out (Sept 27)
9. Update on Wood-burning plant

So, please mark you calendars and plan to attend. The venue will be announced soon.
