Peace Vigils

The following announcement is from DELAWARE COUNTY VOICES FOR PEACE

Peace Vigil in Delhi, Saturday August 5th, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, Courthouse Square, Rain or Shine.

The Delaware County Voices for Peace will be having weekly gatherings for peace resuming Saturday August 5th, 2006. The next one will take place on Courthouse Square in Delhi from 11:0 0 - 12:00 noon.

Future vigils will assemble in Delhi the first and third Saturday of the month and in Margaretville the second and fourth Saturday of the month. In the event of a fifth Saturday we will take a break.

"The group decided to alternate between the two towns," said Kate Ryan, "to encourage more people to join in."

"Signs are available" said Brenda Reeser, "but we would like to encourage everyone to create and bring their own as well."

Everyone is welcome to participate.
