Peace Vigil in Margaretville

The Delaware County Voices for peace will be having its monthly gathering for peace on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 11:0 0 - 12:00 noon on Bridge Street in Margaretville. Asked why the change from Delhi to Margaretville, Kate Ryan said. "Many people from the Margaretville area have been coming to the gatherings in Delhi. It seemed fair that we alternate between the two sites every other month and share the expense and time of travel."

Anyone is welcome to participate. "Signs are available," said Breda Reeser, "but feel free to make your own: Bring our Troops Home; Leave No Bases Behind; No War on Iran, etc."
